Safe & Secure Shopping at sointeriors.co.uk
At So Interiors we take online security and data protection very seriously and we use advanced security measures to ensure the best possible protection of your data. Whenever we display a page asking for your personal details this will be a secure page and on submission your details will be sent to us over a 128-bit encrypted SSL connection.
How do I know the page is secure?
Different internet browsers indicate the use of SSL in different ways, some display a padlock symbol while others warn you if SSL is not being used but the easiest way to check if a page is encrypted is to look at the website address in the navigation bar of your internet browser. A page without SSL will start http:// while a page with SSL will display as https:// with the ‘s’ indicating the security element. The image below shows what our secure website address looks like.

How do you handle my Credit/Debit card information?
All of the payments we receive through our website are handled by two merchants, these are PayPal and Google Wallet. If you choose to pay via the Credit/Debit card option the payment is handled by PayPal.
PayPal are one of the largest online payment processors that were setup to safeguard consumer’s credit/debit card information and because of this we never see any of your card details it is all handled by PayPal. Google Wallet is Google’s very own version of the PayPal system and similarly we never see any of your card details they are all handled by Google.
If you have never heard of PayPal or Google wallet or would simply like to know more about how they work you can visit their websites via the links below.

Additional Safeguarding
We know purchasing from a new website that you have never used before can be a daunting experience and you can sometimes doubt the integrity of the website but we can remove some of this doubt by informing you about the safeguards our merchant providers put in place to protect consumers.
Both of our merchant providers required us to complete an extensive vetting process before they would allow us to accept payments to verify the legitimacy of our business.
In addition to the above both of our merchants operate a third party dispute service which means you can complain directly to them about non-receipt of goods or any other monetary dispute and they will independently review the case after gaining evidence from both parties and come to a decision based on the evidence provided. Their decision is always viewed as final and they do have the power to place a hold on our funds or even withdraw funds from our bank account by direct debit to ensure you get your money back. Obviously this system is used as a last resort as we will do everything we can to resolve any dispute you may have before we get to a dispute, it is simply there for peace of mind. Full details of the dispute systems can be found via the links below.
