Size is the first consideration - the size of the cabinet and stand you will require depends on the size of your TV. This will range from small TVs of 30” to very large cinematic screens of 56”+ which require more support.

Cabinets and Stands are available in many different designs, from modern glass units, to traditional wooden units to suit your living area perfectly. It is often possible to match your TV unit to other living room furniture as part of a set.

A TV Stand has less hidden storage area than a TV Cabinet but is available with various shelves for games consoles, DVD player and DVDs. A Cabinet is more likely to have the same storage options but with a cupboard to keep things hidden.
