Bar stools are fast becoming the preferred seating choice for the kitchen with more and more kitchens incorporating a breakfast bar or central island into their design thus creating the need for bar stool type seating.

There are many different designs of bar stools available and some of the most popular designs are described in details below:

Plastic Bar Stools

The bar stools at the lower end of the market often feature moulded seats constructed from ABS or similar plastic, the advantage of this construction is that they are cheap to make so the selling price is towards the cheaper end of the scale and because they are made from plastic there is often a wide range of colour options available for this type of stool.

Leather Bar Stools

The more upmarket stools often feature a padded seat top, sometimes with backrest that is upholstered in either faux leather or real leather. There is a smaller pallet of colours for these stools but they are available in all of the popular colour options, mainly black and white.

Wooden Bar Stools

The classic pub bar stool featuring a solid wood construction, these stools are often very well built and sturdy but they do lack the swivel function. Wooden bar stools are ideal for traditional style kitchens and homes.
