Vases

Vases can be used within the home to showcase flowers or even decorative sticks or lights, or can even be used by themselves as a purely ornamental piece.

A Vase is characterised by its shape and its ability to hold items within it. The shape starts at the bottom with a base upon which it can be rested. Traditionally a Vase will then have a bulbous shape, curving outwards with a lip at the top. More modern Vases can be straight up and down, or even more adventurous shapes such as a wavy glass effect.

Vases are available in a range of colours and materials. A common material is clear glass, so that the flowers it hold are the main focus of attention. However, more and more commonly it is the Vase which is the centre of attention with a range of bright colours and artistic designs.
