It may have seemed like a long winter this year- but spring is finally on its way.

With widespread ice, snow and howling winds it wasn’t exactly a great start to the year, but it looks as though the weather may be starting to ease off and brighten up as we begin to move into the spring and summer months.

Ametis Furniture at So Interiors

In the run up to Christmas and the gift-buying season, we all have someone to buy a gift for who just seems to have everything. Either they get themselves what they want throughout the year, or they are just one of those people who are difficult to buy for, we all know one.

Stephen Fry said on one episode of QI that he bought some of the rarest coffee available for a person he knew like that, but here at So Interiors we are pretty sure we have an even more unusual and unique selection of gifts that we’re sure they won’t already have.

So Interiors is lucky enough to offer for sale a selection of Mactan Stone Furniture. Mactan stone comes exclusively from the Isle of Mactan in the Southern Philippines. The stone has a composition similar to that of limestone, with a subtle pink tinge which adds a level of warmth not usually associated with stone furniture. It’s certainly not something you’d find in the shops!

For something to fit in a small space or to complement a larger piece, this Mactan Stone Small Dining Table is ideal. The ‘Seagull’ shape of the table when combined with the glass table top gives this item a really contemporary feel, especially when paired with a really modern chair like the Corello.

Something which is really very eye-catching and a perfect centrepiece for a modern or even minimalist dining room is this unique dining table, the Bellagio table. Carved from a large piece of Mactan stone to look like the columns of a building and topped with a sheet of glass, this highly unusual item is an absolute attention grabber. We expect that most people choose different quality bedroom furniture depending on the use of the room, so would you furnish your guest bedrooms with budget furniture while decorating your master bedroom with only the finest luxury furniture, are you budget through and through, or do you have to have the designer finish in every bedroom no matter who will be using it?

Also as a side note we think the standard of the cheaper bedroom furniture has greatly improved over the years in so much as that we believe there is no cheap furniture with bad build quality on the market provided you avoid the flat-pack products which have a tendency to collapse at will, not to mention the hours and hours that they take to build.

You can probably detect from the above sentence that we do not like flat-pack furniture and you will see from browsing our product ranges that we do not sell any flat-pack furniture pieces, we do sell the more upmarket furniture products as we strive for only the highest quality furniture but you will discover many items in our range that are excellent value and could be considered by a proportion of us as cheap bedroom furniture items.

No you are not seeing things, we have changed our name to So Interiors. The change of name is aimed at building a bigger brand than we felt we could achieve with the See Interiors name and we think it is more memorable than the old name, what do you think?

There is no need to worry if you have an outstanding order with See Interiors as we are still trading with the See Interiors Ltd company, once again just the name is changing.
